Before and After School Programs

What’s the KEY to a well-rounded child? Here at the Greater Wichita YMCA we look to Knowledge, Enrichment and Youth Development as important factors – we call it our KEY Academy program.  The program runs before and after school for grade levels K through 5.

School Day Out and Break Clubs

Stuck having to work during the holidays or spring break? We're here to help. We offer day- and week-long programs during scheduled school closures. Keep your schedule while your kids are active in a fun, safe and educational setting.

Infant, Toddler, Preschool

Children absorb knowledge, skills and values from everything and everyone around them. The Greater Wichita YMCA believes the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success.

Middle School After School

That time between when kids get out of school and parents get home from work often presents challenges for many families. The Greater Wichita YMCA can help overcome some of these challenges by offering a safe and productive after-school environment for kids. For more than 20 years, families have trusted our Middle School After School Program to take care of their children.

Summer Camp

Enjoy a full summer of diverse exploration, learning and fun. The Greater Wichita YMCA runs several week-long day camps at multiple locations including Camp Hyde and many Y branches.

Y Scholars

Reading is the foundation of a successful education. If a kid falls behind with his or her reading, it can be a real struggle to catch up. It is crucial that kids get help as soon as a problem is identified. Our Y Scholars program was created to do just that for your first or second grader.
