West High School Child Care Development Center

The Greater Wichita YMCA's Child Development Centers (CDCs) are run by the Y but hosted in area high schools through a partnership with Wichita Public Schools (USD259). Our CDCs foster a warm “extended” family atmosphere in which children feel secure, comfortable and important. The West High School CDC provides children with a mixture of learning, social, and physical activities that holistically approach education, build confidence, and ensure future success.

We offer income-based financial assistance (for reduced-cost access to child care and camp - for those who qualify). All Greater Wichita YMCA child care programs are contracted with DCF.
