GREATER WICHITA YMCA

NOTICE - FACE MASKS REQUIRED INSIDE OUR Ys

Face masks (covering nose and mouth) are required while inside our 10 branches and 3 YMCA Farha Sport Centers with few exceptions. Read our full policy for details. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Greater Wichita YMCA's Child Development Centers (CDCs) are run by the Y but hosted in area high schools through a partnership with Wichita Public Schools (USD259). Our CDCs foster a warm “extended” family atmosphere in which children feel secure, comfortable and important.

CDCs offer affordable, KDHE-licensed, high quality, child care programs that are customized to meet the needs of the children of parents - still in school and/or working - in an effort of improving the overall outcomes for young families. CDCs provide children (two-weeks-old through their start of school) with a mixture of learning, social, and physical activities that holistically approach education, build confidence, and ensure future success.

The information below is intended to provide an outline of program sites, content, and costs, required paperwork required for enrollment, useful information about our other licensed child care programs, and ways to contact our staff for additional support.
